Wheels: also called rims. The English word RIM means car wheel. In common parlance, it is the part of the wheel where the axle is mounted in the centre of the wheel, and is an important part connecting the brake drum (or brake disc), the wheel disc and the half-axle. It is mounted on the axle tube or steering knuckle journal with a bearing set.
Daily wheel maintenance and precautions for beautiful wheels
It is said that "a man's feet are half as short without shoes". Shoes can reflect a person's taste in dress. JWHEEL offers you a brief introduction to the daily maintenance and precautions for wheels.

Hubs are mainly divided into cast and forged from the manufacturing process. Generally, cast rings are aluminium, while forged rings are available in aluminium and also with titanium. In general, forged rims are stronger and are used in racing cars. The first class forged rims used in racing are equivalent to half the weight of our normal cast rims, the lighter the weight, the less power the car loses and the faster it runs.
Another indicator of the difference between wheels is the difference in hole spacing and eccentricity. The bore distance is simply the position of the screw, while the eccentricity reflects the distance from the face of the wheel used to attach the screw (fixing surface) to the centre line of the wheel. The requirements for a good wheel are: uniform density, round shape, low thermal deformation and high strength.
Wheels can be updated. Some people upgrade their car with larger wheels, but the outer diameter of the tyre remains the same, the flat law of the tyre becomes larger, the lateral oscillation of the car is smaller and stability is improved, but the car loses comfort.
The fit of tyres and wheels on a car is like the fit of clothes and shoes, when matched well they can complement each other.
Protecting the wheels.
Most of the wheels on premium cars are made of aluminium. These wheels are beautiful to look at, but they are also delicate. To keep them looking good, apart from taking extra care to prevent accidental damage to the wheels while driving, they should also be maintained and serviced regularly. If you have time they should be cleaned thoroughly once a week.
1. Wash away any grit and dirt that may be attached to the surface of the wheel and that could easily damage it. Otherwise, the surface of the alloy will be corroded and damaged.
2. Treat the inner and outer surfaces of the wheels with an acid-proof cleaner. It is a good idea to wax the wheels every 2 months, as this will prolong the life of the wheels.
Note: Paint brighteners or other abrasive materials should not be used on the wheels in order not to damage the protective layer of the wheel surface itself. When the alloy protective paint is damaged, e.g. if it has been scratched by a hard object while driving, the alloy wheel should be repaired and repainted as soon as possible. This is best done at a specialist workshop.
If the wheel is deformed or badly damaged and needs to be replaced in time, you can call on us at JWHEEL for professional customisation.
